Gameplay
Super Mario Bros is a side-scrolling platformer where the player controls Mario as he runs and jumps through levels filled with enemies, obstacles, and coins. Mario can collect power-ups such as mushrooms to grow bigger, flowers to shoot fireballs, and stars for temporary invincibility. The game consists of eight worlds, each with four levels, with a boss at the end of each world. The objective of the game is to rescue Princess Toadstool by defeating Bowser in the final level.
